Am 28.12.2017 wurde die VO (EU) 2017/2402 zur Festlegung eines allgemeinen Rahmens für Verbriefungen und zur Schaffung eines spezifischen Rahmens für einfache, transparente und sichere Verbriefung („simple, transparent and standardised“ (STS) securitisations Regulation - STSSR) im ABlEU veröffentlicht.
Sie wird ab dem 1.1.2019 gelten und soll als einer der "Eckpfeiler" der Kapitalmarktunion einen Regulierungsrahmen für Verbriefungen schaffen, die einfach, transparent und standardisiert sind und einer angemessenen Aufsicht unterliegen.
On 28 Dec. 2017, the Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 on laying down a general framework for securitisation and creating a specific framework for simple,
transparent and standardised securitisation („simple, transparent and standardised“ (STS) securitisations Regulation - STSSR) was published in the OJ.
It will apply from 1 January 2019. As one of the "cornerstones" of the Capital Markets Union, it is supposed to create a regulatory framework for securitisation which is simple, transparent and standardised and subject to adequate supervisory control.
